Soccer
FWNS-MD fields both adult and youth soccer teams, competing in some of the most recognized Nepali soccer competitions in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our U15 youth program has been a particular source of pride, producing back-to-back championship wins.
Himalaya Baltimore U15 Championship
Our U15 team claimed the championship title at the Himalaya Baltimore U15 Soccer Tournament, defending their position as top youth team.
BANA U15 Soccer Championship
FWNS-MD's U15 squad won the BANA U15 Soccer Tournament Championship, further cementing the program's dominance in youth athletics.
BANA Cup Participation
Our adult soccer team actively participates in the BANA Cup — one of the region's most recognized Nepali soccer competitions.
Volleyball — Far-Western Volleyball Club
In coordination with the Far-Western Volleyball Club, FWNS-MD organized the landmark FWNS Maryland Cup 2025 — a historic inter-state volleyball tournament that turned Maryland into a national platform for Nepali volleyball excellence.
FWNS Maryland Cup 2025 — Inter-State Volleyball Tournament
Held on August 9–10, 2025 in Jessup, Maryland. Attended by Maryland State Delegates and featuring teams from across the United States.
Cricket
FWNS-MD is proud to have two officially recognized and established cricket clubs under its umbrella, both recognized as per the bylaws of FWNS-MD. Together they represent the depth, passion, and competitive spirit of our cricket community.
Far-Western Cricket Club
An established club competing in cricket tournaments across Maryland and interstate, proudly representing the Far-Western Nepalese community.
FarWest United Cricket Club
A recognized and established club competing in cricket tournaments across Maryland and interstate, proudly representing the Far-Western Nepalese community.
Bylaws Recognized
Both clubs are formally recognized and established as affiliated clubs under the bylaws of the Far-Western Nepalese Society of Maryland.
Open to All
Both clubs are always accepting new players and volunteers. Whether you're an experienced cricketer or just starting out, you're welcome to join.
