We Back Our Teams
FWNS-MD actively supports affiliated clubs and teams participating in sports tournaments and community activities across Maryland and beyond.
As per our Bylaws and Sports Participation & Support Policy, FWNS-MD provides up to $1,000 in financial support per activity, subject to Executive Committee approval.
Support may cover tournament entry fees, travel costs, and other approved sports activity expenses. All requests must be submitted in advance and meet the membership requirements below.

- ✓ Travel and transportation costs
- ✓ Equipment and uniform costs (if approved)
- ✓ Other approved activity expenses
Membership Requirement for Support
To qualify for FWNS-MD financial support, teams must meet the following membership requirements as per our Bylaws and Sports Policy.
Adult Teams
- ✓ At least 2/3 of all team members must be current FWNS-MD members in good standing
- ✓ A full player list with membership status must be submitted with the request
Youth Teams (Under 18)
- ✓ At least 2/3 of youth players must have a parent or guardian who is a current FWNS-MD member
- ✓ A full player list with parent/guardian membership status must be submitted
Required when submitting: A complete player roster with each member's FWNS-MD membership status must be included in the support request form.

FWNS-MD is proud to support these affiliated clubs competing across Maryland and beyond.
FWNS Football Club
Our soccer teams compete in adult and youth divisions including the BANA Cup and regional tournaments. Back-to-back U15 championship winners.
FWNS Cricket Club
Two officially recognized cricket clubs — Far-Western Cricket Club and FarWest United Cricket Club — competing in Maryland and interstate tournaments.
FWNS Volleyball Team
Organizers of the historic FWNS Maryland Cup 2025 — a landmark inter-state tournament with 14 teams from across the United States.
FWNS Badminton Club
Our badminton club brings members together for recreational play and competitive matches, building camaraderie within the community.
Recent Achievements
BANA Soccer Tournament — Runner Up
Far Western Football Club finished as Runner Up at the 5th BANA Soccer Tournament held in Baltimore on July 11 & 12, 2026.
Himalaya Baltimore U15 Championship
Our U15 soccer team claimed the championship title at the Himalaya Baltimore U15 Soccer Tournament.
BANA U15 Soccer Championship
FWNS-MD's U15 squad won the BANA U15 Soccer Tournament, cementing the program's dominance in youth athletics.
FWNS Maryland Cup 2025
Organized a landmark inter-state volleyball tournament with 14 teams, attended by Maryland State Delegates.
BANA Cup Participation
Adult soccer team actively participates in the BANA Cup — one of the region's most recognized Nepali soccer competitions.
